CONSTRUCTIONBuilt in circa 1981. GRP construction with original white topsides and superstructure and blue stripe, centre cockpit with aft cabin, saloon and forepeak with wheelhouse and wheelhouse canvas cover.

ENGINE:Perkins 43 HP inboard diesel engine with outdrive, alternator charging to 3 x 12 volt batteries with battery charger. 240 volt shore power and trim tabs. Current engine hours approx 1906. Cruising speed under engine is around 6 knots with a maximum of around 8 knots. Full service 2010, new impellor, new propeller.

DECK GEAR:New blue cockpit canopy with windows and zips. New white vinyl cockpit cushion. Stainless steel pushpit, pulpit, aluminium stanchions and stainless steel guardwires, wooden navigation mast with navigation light, Davits and tender, 7.5kg Bruce anchor with anchor chain, bathing platform, boarding ladder, 2 windscreen wipers, blue cockpit canopy enclosure, various mooring warps and fenders (with blue fender socks).

SAFETY GEAR:Distress flares (December 2008), 3 automatic fire extinguishers, lifebuoys, 2 manual fire extinguishers, fire blanket, manual bilge pump and electric bilge pumps.

NAVIGATION EQUIPMENT:Hummingbird fishfinder/echo sounder, navigation lights. New clock and barometer.


DOMESTIC EQUIPMENT:240v shore-power with 13Amp sockets in boat. She has an Eberspacher hot air diesel fired heating system. She also has a gas heater. Her galley has a gas cooker with 2 burners, oven and grill, gas refrigerator, microwave, sink and worktop. Hot and cold water to stainless steel sink (hot water via engine calorifier). Her separate heads compartment has a marine toilet. FM/AM radio, holding tank, carpet and curtains, saloon table lowers to form a double berth, good amount of storage and large tanks. Oil Lamp. Brass port hole mirrors.

ACCOMMODATION:6 berths in 3 cabins including a double berth in the separate aft cabin which is also equipped with a wash basin. Her forepeak has a double “V” berth and her saloon table lowers to form a double berth. Her heads compartment has hot water and shower. Water capacity is 150 litres.

REMARKS:“Artificer” was purchased by her current owner in August 2009. Her owner has spend the last year refurbishing the boat including new cockpit canopy and cushions. Her engine has just been serviced and the whole boat recently polished and cleaned. She really does look excellent!
